Mark Caldwell, who is the Litigation Partner of Caldwell & Ober, has lived in Arizona his entire adult life and practiced law here his entire legal career. He studied at Northern Arizona University and graduated from Arizona State University in 1975. He earned his law degree at Arizona State University in 1978, when he was admitted to practice law in Arizona. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court and the United States Court of Appeals. His practice areas are Social Security disability law and federal court litigation.
Mark was awarded the Reginald Heber Smith Fellowship upon graduation from law school and began his career with Community Legal Services, a legal aid organization, where he began handling Social Security disability claims. He has been in private practice, representing disability claimants, since 1980.
Mark has been a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) since 1980 and is currently on the NOSSCR Board of Directors. Through the NOSSCR position, Mark has accumulated extensive knowledge about the major issues affecting the disability community. That knowledge adds to his expertise and allows him to bring even more value to disability clients.
